![]() ![]() Google has been replacing the AOSP apps with inferior, proprietary Google apps for a while. Want to find that funny image you downloaded 2 months ago? Scroll through a hundred pages, because your Camera, Downloads, and other albums are all shuffled together. Photos tries to group ALL your pictures together, disregarding what folder they're physically located inside, and just sorts the whole bunch in chronological order. The Photos app has less capability to edit the photos - you can't even crop a screenshot with it. I love the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Gallery app. The last straw for me is the news that future Google Play Edition Android devices are getting rid of the Gallery app, and replacing it with the Google+ Photos app. I'll just say it: Google is ruining Android. ![]()
